New York City has a new law.
Now it's time to make it work.

Local Law 37, with an updated section prohibiting toxic pesticides in all NYC parks passed unanimously by the City Council on Earth Day, 2021.  The new law reflects the growing science linking exposure to chemical pesticides with a host of negative human health impacts, as well as damage to animals and the environment.

Eco-Friendly Parks for All is a coalition of non-profit organizations dedicated to
the successful and complete implementation of NYC Local Law 37.  We seek the development of public parks and spaces that are safe and healthy places for all people and animals, that protect and preserve our natural environment, and that are maintained in harmony with the City’s goals to address sustainability and climate change. We support the safety of all park workers and the equal treatment of parks in all neighborhoods in the City.
